Part II - Covenant With the Children of Israel

Isaac had two sons, Esau and Jacob. Was the covenant confirmed for both of them? no; Only for Jacob. Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel, had twelve sons. These twelve sons later became the fathers of the twelve tribes of Israel. The covenant God made with Abraham was later transferred to Israel. Our Lord Jesus Christ, like the people of Israel, promised us property in heaven and he said that I will make a place for you where I am and I will come again and take you with me. This is the greatest promise of hope to all his followers.
