It is said that man can last a maximum of 40 days without food, 4 days without water and 4 minutes without air. But without any hope we cannot last 4 seconds! There is no life without hope. It is the hope that brings order to human existence. Hope gives purpose to living. As the proverb says, "Hope makes the world go round."
Jesus Christ is the living hope for us believers. This is because through faith in Jesus Christ we have eternal life.
