How to Think of Others Even in Times of Pain and Hardship

Jesus, wounded on the cross, revealed to us his third healing principle, which is love. Normally, a wounded person does not feel the needs and pain of others. In fact, the wounds and sorrows of others do not matter to him. But the supernatural love that Christ showed to people throughout his life never diminished on the cross when he was wounded. True love never fades, and love for others makes the heart young and fresh. How good it is for us to think and talk about the present instead of the bitter and painful memories of the past. How beautiful it is to teach our children and others in times of difficulty and pain the word of the living God found in the Holy Bible; to love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and to love your neighbour as yourself. In fact, the love of God should be taught to them from childhood - because only the love of God is seen throughout the Holy Bible. This love reaches its peak in Christ and from there flows into our lives and hearts.
