Do We Have Thanksgiving in Our Homeland?

Thanksgiving is a very important theme in the Bible. Be thankful to God in all circumstances. Thanksgiving and gratitude should be a way of life and should be a constant in our hearts and minds. Rejoice always! Pray constantly! Give thanks to God for everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. A little deeper look into the Bible will show us why and how we should be thankful. The Bible contains examples of gratitude in the midst of difficult situations and circumstances. It depicts David’s anguish and distress. He cries out to God for mercy, protection, and justice. After he cries out to God with a groaning cry, God answers his prayers. We should be thankful because God deserves gratitude. We should be grateful for every good gift that God gives us. Proverbs says: Be generous and you will become rich. He who fills others will himself be filled. How nice it would be to gather with our families one day and thank God with grateful hands and hearts.
