Just as loving our brothers is a sign of walking in the light, hating our brothers is a sign of walking in darkness. When we walk in the light, we will see our way and not stumble. The light will not allow the darkness of sin to overpower us. The darkness of sin always blinds the eyes of its victims. Satan wants us to be blind. He does everything he can to blind us to the light of God and to keep us in darkness. The devil does not want us to see and know about his evil plans. Above all, he does not want our eyes to be opened and to meet Jesus. As long as we are in sin, we will not be able to accept the grace of God. Sin is like a root of bitterness that makes the tree and its fruit bitter. If sin has entered our lives, every aspect of our lives will be contaminated.
