A prophet is said to be a person who must bring the truths of God to the ears of the people, inspired by the Spirit of God. The house of God, that is, the church, is built on the foundation of apostles and prophets. The teachings of the church and the foundation of God's family are based on the apostles of the New Testament and the prophets of the Old Testament. In other words, the church is built on the basis of the Old Testament and the New Testament (that is, the Bible). In simpler words, the foundation and solid foundation of the church is the Word of God. The Holy Spirit has inspired the words of God to the prophets of the Old Testament and the apostles of the New Testament. They have given us the word of God. Paul pointed out another important truth, saying that Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of the church. Without Jesus Christ, the church will fall apart.
