A healthy relationship is one in which there is respect, honesty, and mutual understanding. This means that both parties feel valued, heard, and without fear of judgement. In a healthy relationship, one does not have to play a role or pretend. Healthy relationships help us grow. When we are in contact with positive and understanding people, we are encouraged to be better. We also support each other in difficult times. A healthy relationship also has a direct impact on mental health, because a person feels less lonely. When we feel good, anxiety and depression also decrease. Talking honestly with a trusted friend can greatly reduce internal pressures. Healthy relationships make life more beautiful and easier.
