Those who suffer in the way of justice, like those who are aware of their spiritual poverty, will receive the kingdom of God. People suffer for various reasons such as sin, stupidity, pride, and bad habits. But only those who are persecuted for doing right will be blessed. We will be blessed only if we suffer while striving to glorify God. Because Jesus Christ suffered in this world, we who belong to him will also suffer.
