In the Old Testament, in 1 Samuel chapter 1, we read the life story of a woman named Hannah who suffered because she had no children and because of the taunts of the people who called her barren she cried every night.
One day Hannah prayed to God with a broken heart. God answered her prayer and gave her the need of his heart.
