Where is the house of God With the coming of Jesus Christ and His teachings, the perspective on the "house of God" changed. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ repeatedly emphasises that God is not only present in specific places like temples but also dwells in the hearts of people. He highlights that individuals can connect directly with God without the need for a specific physical location.

Why Do We Call God the Heavenly Father?

Followers of Christ refer to God as the "Heavenly Father" because this term reflects a close, loving, and caring relationship that God has with humankind. Jesus Christ introduced God as a compassionate Father who loves, protects, and guides His children (those who believe in Christ). In His teachings, Jesus repeatedly refers to God as "Father" and teaches His followers to adopt this perspective as well.

Test Everything

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
