Pilate deliberately incited people's feelings in order to oppress them. The wrath of God comes down on the disobedient, not merely on Judgment Day and the Hereafter but also during life on earth. A tree that does not bear fruit must be rooted out. That’s its fate. Can someone find salvation if he truly repents?
