Prayer in the name of Jesus Christ is powerful. When Jesus Christ was here on earth, he performed many miracles. He gave sight to the blind, raised the dead and made the lame walk. Jesus asked Bartimaeus, "What do you want me to do for you?" Bartimaeus was a beggar and Jesus asked this question to let the crowd know that Bartimaeus wasn’t asking for money. Rather, he wanted to regain his sight. Bartimaeus expressed to Jesus what was in his heart, and Jesus did exactly this for him.
