Faith and trust in Jesus Christ give us hope. Being born again and becoming a new creation means that we become a new human being. Becoming does not mean physical change. Rather, Christ gives us his spirit, thoughts, and godly behavior.
The good news is that God has given this precious gift to each of us. It is enough to entrust ourselves with confidence to Jesus Christ in order to receive this precious gift. As a new creation our lives will be free from malice, lies, hypocrisy, and other sinful acts. Because we have been justified – made right before God, the righteous Judge – by what Christ has done.
