We Afghan Christians believe that despite being Afghans, we are a chosen people of God, a nation selected by Him, and a people belonging to God. Previously, we were deprived of God's mercy, but now God's mercy encompasses us How can we, as the Afghan church, establish and promote Christianity within our church? As followers of Jesus Christ, we are not opposed to our own customs and traditions
Jesus declares, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." This proclamation signifies Jesus as the source of spiritual illumination, guiding humanity out of darkness and into the truth. Metaphorical Light vs. Darkness: Throughout the Gospel of John, light is often contrasted with darkness, symbolising the dichotomy between good and evil, truth and falsehood. Those who embrace Jesus and his teachings walk in the light, while those who reject him remain in spiritual darkness
