Healing can be a blend of faith and medicine, showing that God works through various means. The episode explores how prayer and doctors both play vital roles in our health.
Dear listeners and beloved children, I am very happy to be connected with you through the programme "Play and Song".
Dear friends, you are listening to the "Play and Song" programme on Radio Voice of Life, and I am very pleased to see you in your programme, which is "Play and Song". I thank you, dear children, for welcoming us into your homes through this programme.
As usual, I will introduce myself: I am Sara, and I am Ibrahim, and I welcome you to the first part of this beautiful programme.
Mother, have you packed all your travel essentials? Oh, my daughter, yes, yes, I have helped you all a lot.
I don't understand how I took the plane, but my daughter, my heart is not at peace. Every time I think about it, I worry that something might happen to your father.
Mother, we are also very anxious, but we must set our worries aside. You shouldn't worry, as God is with our father.
Maryam, my daughter, you are absolutely right, but fear is also natural. Sister, my heart is somewhat uneasy; I can't make a decision. Maybe I shouldn’t go on this trip. I'm anxious.
Oh, mother, I regret going. I haven't regretted it, my daughter, but I pray that God guides me to do the right thing.
That's true, mother. We also pray. Your father is very worried. I think he didn't explain much, just said the doctor is aware.
After his call, I called several times but received no answer.
Sister, your decision is out of love. Leave the rest in God's hands.
Hello, yes, Ibrahim, hello, Sara, hello, girls, how are you?
Where are you from, father? Ibrahim, how are you? You have made us half alive.
Yes, Sara, I am well. I was working on the construction site. The weather was bad, and I got a bit tired, but thank God, I am better now.
Ibrahim, I am glad you are better. We are very worried about you. We plan to come to Kabul in the morning to be with you.
No, Sara, don’t do that. Thank God, there are good doctors here and good friends by my side. Don’t worry about me.
I just want your peace, and by God's grace, I will be fine soon. Don’t worry.
Father, why didn't you call sooner? We were very worried about you.
Father, we prayed a lot for you. I couldn't call earlier, my dear, thank you for your prayers.
Father, I miss you a lot. I love you so much. Of course, my dear, I am taking more care of myself.
Thank God, Ibrahim, I am happy you are better. I had planned to come to you, but now I see you are fine.
We won’t come anymore, but I ask you to call us every day so we don’t remain out of touch.
No, Sara, your coming is not necessary. I want you girls to stay calm and keep your worries away.
I am fine and taking care of myself. Sister, have faith. God is taking care of Ibrahim.
Yes, God is very kind. Sara, please don’t worry. I want you to be calmer than ever.
Ibrahim, keep yourself calm and don’t let worries come home. Thank God, the girls have become very wise.
Thank you, Sara, for being here. I will end the call now. I commend you all to God. Goodbye, and may God keep you safe, Ibrahim.
In God's protection. Did you see, sister? God has illuminated the path, and your heart has become calm.
I am very happy that mother is not leaving and that we are all together. Yes, I am too. Thank God my heart has become calm again.
Thank God for the faith I see in you. God is always with us.
Come on, girls, we should go to sleep peacefully and pray for healing and health for father. Amen. And take care.
Even when we are worried, God is always watching over us. Amen.
Now I can be calm. My heart is at peace, and my faith is stronger.
Our hearts and souls should always be warm towards God. Just as it says in the Holy Book, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."
Beautiful children's music and the hearts of the little ones. You should listen to mother and father many times and be happy and wise, dear children.
Now let’s go to the next segment of the programme together. Music greetings to you, dear children, and beloved ones.
I pray that wherever you are, you may be prosperous, happy, and at peace. I warmly welcome you to your programme.
We ask you to listen carefully to your programme today. Hello, hello, sweet little ones.
I am your aunt, and I am very happy to be here with you again. I pray that we learn an important and interesting topic today.
Hello, dear friends. I am Nafisa. How wonderful that God has given us this opportunity again to visit your warm and beautiful homes through the radio.
Today, I have a thought in my mind since this morning. Friends, why do you think someone should go to the doctor when they get sick? Some people say prayer is enough.
Hello, I am Maryam. I warmly welcome you, dear friends, to today’s programme. I am very happy that we have the opportunity to talk together again.
By the way, I have a question. If God heals us, then what do doctors do? Well, dear ones, now that you have greeted each other, let’s move on to today’s topic.
The important topic is that God is the Great Physician, and all healing comes from God the Father.
Thank you, sister, for bringing up such an important topic today. If I think of something, I will share it, and in response to Maryam's question, I would say that sometimes people either rely only on medicine or only on prayer.
But the truth is that there is something more beautiful and balanced. Exactly, sister, we believe that healing comes from God, but God uses various means to help us.
So doctors are instruments from God? Yes, my daughter, doctors, nurses, and medicines can all be tools that God uses to assist us.
So when I take medicine, God is using that to make me better? Yes, exactly. God has given humans wisdom and knowledge to learn medicine and help others.
Oh children, think about it. If there were no doctors, how many problems would arise? If we consider this, we understand that it is a great blessing.
In the Holy Book, we also see that God places great importance on healing. Let me share a verse from the Holy Book with you.
In the Holy Torah, the Book of Exodus, Chapter 15, Verse 26, it states: "The Lord said, 'If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.'"
Did you understand, friends at home? This means that if we have faith and are obedient to God, He Himself says He is our healer?
Yes, dear ones, God is the ultimate physician. But He can use humans and various means to heal us.
Did Jesus Christ heal people? Yes, my daughter, very much. Jesus Christ healed the sick, raised the dead, and comforted the broken-hearted.
This shows how much God cares for human suffering. He doesn't want us to be in pain.
But mother, why do sometimes sick people not get better? This question is very deep, my daughter. Sometimes healing comes immediately, but sometimes it takes time.
But we must remember that in every situation, God is with us and does not abandon us, dear friends.
I was amazed by what mother and aunt said. Even when we are sick, God the Father is beside us. Yes, dear ones.
Maryam, you are absolutely right. God is always close to us in every circumstance. Dear ones, sometimes God heals through medicine, sometimes through rest, and sometimes through doctors. We must pray and use the resources God has provided.
Yes, dear ones. So if we get sick, we should pray and also go to the doctor. Yes, Afsana, you are right, my daughter, and this shows wisdom.
Also, it is a matter of faith. We think that if we go to the doctor, maybe it means our faith is weak. No, my daughter, on the contrary.
When we seek help from a doctor, we are indeed using the means God has provided. Oh, children, God does not only work from heaven but also works through humans.
So, friends, I think we should also be grateful to the doctors. What do you think? Yes, definitely, doctors work very hard.
They study for years and work day and night to save lives with God's help. Friends, I was once sick.
The doctor prayed for me, and I got better. We should thank him after that. It’s not too late, Maryam.
If you see him, give him a warm thank you. And most importantly, we should thank God because He is the one who heals and provides us with doctors.
Mother, can we pray for the doctors too? Yes, my daughter, that is a very good thing. We can pray that God grants them wisdom, patience, and strength.
Because being a doctor is not easy. They have to be very strong. They face sickness and death every day. Today, we want to pray for all doctors.
Friends, do you know someone who is a doctor? Pray for them. Well done, girls, and remember when you are a doctor.
Let’s not lose hope but rather trust in God and use the means He has provided. Dear ones, health is a great blessing.
When you are well, be grateful, and when you are sick, do not lose hope. Today, I learned something important.
In addition to God being a doctor, earthly doctors are also important. And taking medicine and going to the doctor is not contrary to faith.
Well done, dear ones, do you see how sweet God's provision is? God helps us through various means.
Today we learned that God is the Great Physician, and He grants us healing through doctors, medicines, and care.
So let’s always be grateful and trust in Him. Dear children, I have learned many things from this part of the programme.
What about you? I am sure you learned many good things as well. Yes, dear children, now we will move on to the next segment of the programme.
Now I want to ask you what you learned from this part of the programme and what was interesting to you.
Maryam and I learned many things. And I ask you to share what you learned with your friends.
Now let’s go to the next segment of the programme together. Maryam, let’s go tell aunt to tell us a story.
Let’s go, we are excited. Yes, we are excited.
Aunt, aunt, please come tell us a story. We are very excited.
Hello, dear girls. Of course. Why not? I will tell you a story.
Today I will tell you a story about a man who had been sick for many years.
In a city, there lived a man named Javid. He was sick for many years. He always had body pains and had no relief.
Javid would go to the doctors. He would buy the medicines they recommended.
He spent a lot of money. A lot of his time was wasted in treatment by medicines and doctors, but there was no change, and he did not get better.
One day, one of his neighbours came and said, "Javid, why do you keep relying on medicines and doctors? Come with us. We will pray to God for healing."
Javid laughed and replied, "Prayer? I have been sick for years. If prayer works, what can it do?" You see, girls, Javid did not believe that prayer could heal.
Aunt, I am here, why do some people feel this way? It's because they usually think that it’s only the doctors who can help. But they will understand one day.
Days passed, and Javid’s pain worsened. He was finding it hard to even walk.
One night, he was sitting alone at home, feeling very down. Not only from pain but from hopelessness.
For the first time, he bowed his head and said, "God, if You are there, I can’t go on anymore. If You can help me, please do."
He didn’t know many prayers or special phrases. He just spoke from his heart. The next day, his neighbour came again.
He said, "Javid, today we are gathering to pray. If you want, we will pray in the name of Jesus Christ."
Javid did not say anything at first. He just nodded silently. He went with them. Six others prayed.
At first, Javid was silent. Then he closed his eyes. In his heart, he said, "God, I don’t believe, but I want to believe."
Days passed. Javid noticed that his pain was a little less. At first, he didn’t believe it. He thought it might be a coincidence.
But every day, he felt better. He could walk again. He smiled again.
One day he stood up, raised his hands, and said, "God, I was wrong.
I had only relied on medicines and doctors. Now I understand that prayer in the name of Jesus Christ has power."
Do you understand, girls? Prayer is not bad. Doctors are not bad. But we must understand that healing comes from God.
God can use doctors to help. Through medicine.
But the ultimate healer is God Himself. So should we just pray? No, my daughter.
We pray and go to the doctor. But we entrust our hearts to God.
We hadn’t thought this way before. Sometimes we only focus on things we see.
But God is above all. We can pray for those who are sick, right?
Of course. Let’s pray and have hope. Let’s believe that God heals.
We always pray for all sick people. Yes, well done, girls.
Remember, when our hearts are filled with faith, even in the toughest situations, we find hope.
Aunt, if God wills, will mother get better? Yes, my daughter. God always knows what is best.
We trust Him. So from today, we will pray and also take care.
Well done. That’s the right way. God is the Great Physician, and your compassionate hearts are the best support for mother.
Dear children, this story was so beautiful, sweet, and educational. We have learned so many new things.
And I hope it has been educational for you too. Yes, dear children. Now we will listen to the next part of the programme.
Girls, today I will tell you a very important story. A story about humility and about who is considered great in the eyes of God.
Mother, I think strong and rich people or someone who is very famous are counted as great.
Dear girls, many people think this way. But today we will see what Jesus Christ tells us about this.
Please start, mother. We are all ears. That’s right, my daughter.
One day, Jesus Christ and His disciples went to the city of Capernaum. At that time, the tax collectors came.
Taxes are the money that people pay to the government, right? Yes, my daughter. One of the tax collectors came to Peter and asked, "Does your teacher not pay taxes?"
What did Peter say? He said, "Yes, he does." But mother, did Jesus Christ have to pay taxes?
When Peter entered the house, Jesus asked him a question. What question? He asked, "What do you think, from whom do kings take taxes? From their own children or from others?"
What did Peter answer? He said, "From others."
So from foreigners? Yes, then Jesus said, "Therefore, the children are free." What does that mean, mother?
It means Jesus indicated that He is the Son of God and therefore was not obligated to pay taxes. But why did He pay taxes anyway?
Because He didn’t want to cause anyone trouble or bring discomfort to the people. Then He told Peter, "Go to the sea, throw in a hook, and take the first fish that comes up. In its mouth, you will find a coin. Take that, and give it to me and yourself."
Wow, so the fish had a coin in its mouth? Yes, my daughter, it was a miracle.
Mother, does that mean Jesus even helps with daily matters? Exactly, He doesn’t leave us alone in our everyday lives.
After this, the disciples asked a very important question. They asked who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven, and Jesus called a child to Him and set the child in the midst of them.
Why a child, mother? Because He wanted to teach them a very important lesson.
He said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven."
What does it mean to become like children? It means to be humble, to be simple, and to have a pure heart to believe in God.
Mother, why are children considered important? Because children do not think highly of themselves; they have no pride and trust others.
So someone who is humble is considered great in the eyes of God? Exactly, my daughter.
Mother, why did Jesus pay taxes and how do people enter the kingdom of God?
First, Jesus paid taxes, not because He had to, but because He didn’t want to offend anyone or cause problems.
Second, Jesus said that those who are like children, meaning humble, simple, and faithful, will enter the kingdom of God.
So wealth is not important, right? Oh, my daughter, in God's eyes, the heart of a person is what matters.
Mother, I understand that even if we grow up, our hearts should be pure like that of a child. Well done, my daughter, you understood it very well.
And I learned that even when Jesus had the right not to pay taxes, He still showed humility. Exactly, He is always the perfect example for us.
Mother, I really liked this story because it shows that in God's eyes, you and I can also be important if our hearts are pure.
Well done, my daughter. The lesson today is that the one who is great in the kingdom of God is the one who is humble, has a pure heart, and trusts God like a child.
Yes, dear children, this story from the Holy Book was very educational, and I learned many things that I didn't know before.
Yes, Maryam, I also learned a lot. Yes, dear children, we have now reached the end of this programme.
Sweet and lovely children, I commend you all to God. Goodbye to all of you.
