God has forbidden us to hate others, because hate is one of the worst things. Satan always tries to sow hatred among people and destroy the love of Jesus among his people. As Jesus Christ forgave all our sins, we also should forgive those who sin against us. Jesus Christ is the best model for forgiveness. Forgiveness is a power and God delights in it. Revenge and hatred show our weaknesses. It is Satan’s work. To practice forgiveness means we follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.
