Power of the Blood

The Old and New Testament, the two parts of the Holy Bible both talk about the power of the blood. God was forgiving his people by the sacrificing of animals. As Abrahim, Isaac, and Jacob and the people of Israel kept up bringing sacrifices. But God stopped this series and system of sacrifices with the supreme sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus’ blood on the cross cleansed all our venial sins and capital crimes. To God the life of human beings has great worth. So, their blood is costly, but even more the blood of Jesus. Therefore, nothing else can cleanse our sins except the precious and sinless blood of Christ.
