Faith and Works

James 2:14-26 teaches us that we cannot separate faith from works. In Christian live, faith comes first and works are a reflection of our faith. We are saved by faith in the Lord Jesus not by works. In many other religions, works come first and then faith but in Christianity faith comes first and works later. We should know that faith without works is dead. We overcome the challenges in life by faith that asks us for patience and wisdom. Works without faith in the Lord Jesus do not have any benefits. Followers of Jesus are not slaves to do the work like robots but we are called the children of God. We pray, we help others because we believe in Jesus and we call God our heavenly father.
