Jesus said to the people: I am the light of the world. The light of Jesus is the light of God. God is light. Light is the sign of truth and knowledge, it is also the sign of life. In Jesus was life, and life was the light of man. Just as the sun gives light to man. Some people are blind and cannot see the sun. Many close their eyes and do not want to see him. But the sun is there and it continues to shine, whether man sees it or not. It is the same with Christ. That is why faith is so important to God. When we believe, it means that we really want to leave the darkness and enter the light of Christ. What is the main reason why people refuse to believe in Christ? They do not believe because they do not want to leave their wicked and selfish ways. They loved the darkness because in the darkness their sin and wickedness remain hidden, but not for God!
