Why We Are Sometimes Persecuted

Sometimes our own foolish behavior and wrong actions cause us to suffer. If this is the case, we can only blame ourselves.
But if our actions and behavior are in accordance with God's word, we will not suffer that way.
Another reason for our persecution is that the people of the world also treated Christ rudely. We not only share in the blessings and the healing of Christ but we then also share in his sufferings.
Whatever the reasons, we should always look to Jesus Christ. He is the one who has given us grace and eternal life.
