The Law of Christ (The Lord's Supper)

Our Lord Jesus Christ lived among us and came to save us from our sins. We have been redeemed, the price for sin has been paid. Now, we are symbolically crucified with Christ on the cross and have been delivered from the bondage of sin.
On the night before he knew he would be crucified, Jesus Christ met with his disciples for a final meal. It was the Jewish Passover feast were the Jewish people remembered the deliverance from bondage and death in Egypt by God’s power and the blood of a sacrificed lamb. Taking the bread and the cup of wine, Jesus Christ told His disciples: “Take and eat this is my body.” Then he took the cup and gave it to the disciples after giving thanks and said, "Drink all of this, for this is my blood which symbolizes the New Covenant and is for the forgiveness of the sins of mankind."
As followers of Christ, we, also, at times celebrate this special meal, the breaking of bread, the Lord's Supper as a reminder of our covenant with Jesus Christ and a remembrance of what he has done for us.
