Suffering and Trials

Living the Christian life and walking with Jesus Christ is not free of suffering. History tells us of the suffering of those who believe in Jesus Christ. The world is not a safe place for a believer. Rather, it is a rugged place with suffering and persecution. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself suffered in this world and was crucified. So we, too, as believers in Jesus Christ, must be ready to accept such difficulties and sufferings.
But the good news is that we do not lose heart and give up because of these sufferings and we are not disappointed because our heavenly Father has prepared and reserved a place for us in his future kingdom. The ultimate victory belongs to God.
