The feast of Passover was ordained by God Himself; This festival marked the deliverance of the people of Israel from Egypt, which they should celebrate. So that they will never forget what God did for them. The Hebrews slaughtered a perfect lamb and sprinkled its blood on their homes, in an effect of representing a replacement for someone who deserved to die.
