Palm Sunday is a day celebrated by Christians a week before Easter Sunday. This feast commemorates the triumphant arrival of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem, and is mentioned in all four Gospels. This event occurred before Christ was arrested on Holy Thursday and crucified on Holy Friday (Good Friday). Upon his triumphant arrival in Jerusalem, Jesus Christ introduces himself as the Messiah to the people for the first time in his three-and-a-half-year ministry. His coming into the world was foretold by the prophets hundreds of years before.
