Is the Bible Abrogated?

When people say that the Word of God has been abrogated, unknowingly they say that God has either has lied in the past or He has made mistakes and so needs to abrogate His previous revelation. Such way of thinking is unworthy of God. God neither lies or has ever made a mistake. Therefore, His Word cannot be abrogated. Here are some other reasons presented: Truths about God cannot be abrogated. Historical facts cannot be abrogated. Poetry cannot be abrogated. No prophet has claimed that the Word of God has been abrogated. Finally, the moral law given to us in the teachings of Jesus, the law of love, cannot be abrogated. So, the Word of God which contains all of this cannot be abrogated.
