A poem about Christ's suffering, examining the call for all believers to be united by God through Christ's sacrifice
In recent years, various television and radio programmes, as well as social media platforms, particularly networks such as Facebook, have repeatedly promoted the claim that the Holy Bible, namely the Holy Gospel, is an outdated book that no longer possesses relevance, authority, or practical value for people living in the modern world. Yet, in many cases, those who advance this view fail to provide clear and substantiated evidence from the Scriptures themselves to support their assertion. Therefore, it is necessary to examine this claim in the light of the biblical text and through the test of history and time, in order to determine whether the Bible has truly lost its significance or whether its message remains living, authoritative, and relevant for contemporary humanity.
If you haven't yet believed in Jesus Christ, imagine that it's nighttime when everything is quiet and you're alone. Suddenly God asks you a very simple but profound question: "Will you really walk with me?" You might answer: "Yes, I believe in God." But the next question is: "Do you just know about me, or do you really trust me?"
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.I do not give to you as the world gives Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
