A poem about Christ's suffering, examining the call for all believers to be united by God through Christ's sacrifice
Sin separates us from God. However, through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, God offers us forgiveness. Jesus Christ voluntarily took upon Himself the punishment for our sins so that we might be forgiven without God's justice being compromised. Christ revealed the mystery of the Gospel through His holy apostles and prophets in the first century. They were commanded to make the Gospel known to all nations through the prophetic Scriptures. By the prophetic Scriptures, we mean writings that were inspired by God. Before the creation of the world, the Gospel was already part of God's plan.
The only way to be saved from sin is through faith in Jesus Christ, for He is Lord and the Messiah. The central message of the Holy Gospel is simple, clear, and unchanging: Jesus Christ died for our sins. God raised Him from the dead. He is Lord and the Messiah. He is the Saviour and Judge of the world. But the crucial question is: What must we do to be saved?
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.I do not give to you as the world gives Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
